Are there any benefits to being in a pyrimid style selling operation?
Just met someone who sells aloe vera products. She has asked me to work for her. I'm certain it is a pyramid style business. I hear negative things about this. Are there actually any benefits for me or is it a way for the persomn at the top to make some money?

- CON - only the few at the top make out of it.
- No, pyramid selling is illegal and only profits those who start it.
- Hi! You got it in one! Give her a wide berth!
- Pyramid scams are illegal and should be avoided, you don't want to be in one when it collapses.
- no they have been scams for years no one makes money except the top
- We tried that once....never saw a dime. Don't waste your time, effort or energy!!!
- it is a way for them to make money..you could to but you can never go any higher then the person above you in a pyrimid business....look for one were you can grow as much as you want weather or not the people above you or below you work..
- Pyramid schemes and multilevel marketing are for the really stupid people to get involved in so they can go broke. Just a little basic math will show that, in order to make any real money, it would take more people than the population of the U.S. Start with 1 the multiply by 2 then again and again and again... and ask yourself if you can actually get that many other fools to take you up on the fabulous chance to make a fortune in MLM
- Depends whether you class bankrupting the entire nation of Albania as a benefit.
- It's a con mate. How many people do you know that have bought a pyramid? 'nuf said.
- There are good programs and there are bad ones. The biggest problem with all of them is the people joining either are looking to get rich quick or get something for nothing. When a traditional job takes 45 years to make it versus 2 to 5 years on a legitimate program to achieve success with greater rewards than any job, which makes more sense. The program needs a reliable company, great products, training and support. If you want to look at another program go to www.tsginfo.com and use code EH6292. No matter what, if you are interested in any opportunity, don't let anyone steal your dreams and hopes. Good Luck and have a great day.
- Generally the only people who really benefit from these things are the people at the top of the pile, the poor sob's down at the bottom end up getting ripped off.
- Yes, as long as you are at the top because everyone beneath you will have to give you part of their earnings. Pyramid-style dealing is against the law; it has been replaced by various other methods but most, if not all, are pyramid-selling in a different guise and name. Multi-level marketing is the main one. If you have to pay to get in, that payment is divided between the person at the top and downwards until it gets to the person who recruited you. Most times you will find that profits for selling the product, by the time it gets to you, have dwinded almost to nil. Really, the short answer is, the further down the scale you are, the less you will earn. The person at the top makes more money because he buys cheap and sells dear. You are at the bottom so you purchase at a price that makes it difficult for you to make any profit. The profit made by those at the top is made by selling to mugs like you at the bottom. The only way to get rich quick at that scheme is to start one yourself - but don`t forget that it is not only illegal, but you would be losing good friends by fleecing them. Hope this helps.
