why do top jobs in business usually have people just walking around the workplace all day looking around?

and doing absolutely nothing....it's sad that fortune 500 companies put the cost on the consumer by letting their workplace function in such a way, the american workplace will become more defunct and people will be put to slavery making wages that will barely cover their bills while the "head" makes more money than they can spend

1. That is a sad fact. All the "worker bees" doing all the work.....corporate people manage and get all the money/honey.
2. America has become lazy I live and work in China and it is much different than the us, we are spoiled and do not appreciate our employers.
3. It's called "The Peter Principal". Someone does well & is promoted. This continues until a person is promoted above their level of competentcy. Check out the book. It's short & funny.
