1. Hi Wynell... When we studied up on what to investigate and what to ignore about 6 years ago now, we stumbled a little of course yet learned as well. What we learned was that the "service industry" is not only the largest industry on the globe from haircuts to internet providers, yet it was also economy immune as we have seen and experienced first-hand. And when you are global, you really have no economy affects whatsoever. 4. Yes, currently I do direct sales. I have slowed down a bit, but when I working it full force, I received orders all the time. It's kind of like Avon, but just a different catalog selling home decor. Right now I am not doing the direct selling, I have a group of wholesalers that do it for me. I make less money, but I also do less work and provide a job for someone looking for extra cash.
5. I sell AVON. It is the only one so far that I've found that works. Believe me I've tried almost all of them!! These get rich quick scams just don't cut it. AVON only costs $10 and although it's commission based your first 4 campaigns you earn 50% as long as you sell $50 or more. This is not hard to do. You just have to let everyone you know and run into know you sell it.
