Do you think this much money is good enough for back to school shopping?

im gonna spend $3,000 dollars and im gonna shop in 13 stores but i wanna shop online like zappos and fashion luxury also do you think its enough because i dont tihnk so for 113 stores coming out with different clothes and plus $3,000 is like a lot but not enough for 13 stores and online shopping im gonna tell my father to give $5,000 you think that's enough.? im not tryna say im greedy but you know they scarfice alot for me and my father has a big business and owns 2 buildings and my mom owns a hair salon so they make money and he has a BMW but i don't get anything to be honest so they really being spoiled to me now since im 17 and getting older im going to the 11 th grade so you know im really wanna buy like 30 pairs of jeans 40 tops 13 pairs of sweaters and 33 pair of vans, sugar shoes, flats from steve madden, boots and more but not the same day like shop everyday until im left with 1,000 dollars but i dunno i really wanna is that enuff i dont have many clothes to be honest..

Hmm well it's more than enough. I was never given any money. Get a part time job and earn your clothing. It will be worth the life experience, esp at such a young age.

5000 dollars spent on clothes you might wear for maybe a year before you get sick of them is wwwwwwaaaaayyyyyyyy too much. So what if your parents make a lot of money? That 5000 dollars could go for a down payment for a new luxury car for you to drive, which would look better than any pair of jeans
ok....for back to school shopping i get 120 dollars to get 7 shirts, 7 pants and some bras. thats it. You WAYYY!!! to spoiled! WOW!

WOW! I would spend like $300 now and shop a few times a month to buy MUST HAVES it's usually a bad idea to spend a lot of money at one time b/c in a month or two you'll see an awesome pair of jeans/shoes etc. and want to buy them but wont have money left.

That's WAYYYYY too much money. You have enough clothes, most likely, and 3000 dollars is more than most people earn in A MONTH. You're greedy. What do you need 30 pairs of jeans for? Do you not do laundry? Or do you just throw everything away after you wear it? 5000 dollars is too much. I spend about 300 dollars. It doesn't matter how well to do you are, nobody needs that much money at once for clothes. You could buy a freaking car with that. Buy 5 pairs of jeans, a lot of shirts, some skirts/dresses and jackets and donate the rest to someone who DOESN'T have money to throw around like that.
well, TO BE HONEST, at 17 your should start earning some of your own money and not relying on your parents, I'm 13 and I buy some of my own stuff already. And what do you need with 33 pairs of vans, people at your school probably only have(at the most) 10 pairs of shoes I bet you wont even wear most of the stuff you buy and you probably dont have a big enough closet nuff said
3,000 is FAR too much! You should get 2-5 pairs of jeans,maybe 10 tops,2-3 shoes,and not a whole lot of sweaters right away,since August and September and warm months.Buy sweaters (2-3) in October and November,and a denim jacket is good.4 sweaters might be better than 3.Buy things throughout the year.But get like 8-10 shirts at the beginning.
u should only buy maybe 5 new mix and match outfits and maybe only spend 200 dollars. or you should work for the money you need money doesn't grow on trees you know. who needs 30 pairs of jeans. only get like 3 pairs
wow..that is way too much to spend on back to school. even if you dont get anything...in reality how much stuff do you really need? you dont need to buy everything from all of those 13 stores. like for me example..i get a some things before school starts, but i get some other stuff at school goes on that way i can mix it up whenever i want and not just stick to the same stuff for the whole year. even if you dont have many clothes...no one needs 30 pairs of jeans for high school. just my opinion, but you should be using that type of money towards charity or college or something.

Sorry to say this, but you are very spoiled. What the heck? Even if you have the money, you don't have to waste it on a rediculous amount of things. "30 pairs of jeans, 40 tops, 33 pairs of vans," I like to get a few new outfits for back to school, but $3,000! And you're asking about getting 5,000? I think this is rediculous. And I don't care if you say your dad and mom have a lot of money, it's about your character.
Bloody....nah..... Three grand is more than enough to keep you content. I have allowance for a reason ( a miserable 12 dollars a week) and I am only 14, not old enough to have a great paying part-time job, so my back-to-school shopping consists of a nice graphic wallet filled with 100 dollars or less, and I'm happy with that. Don't need someone to be jealous Don't need 33 shoes, only need like 2 Don't need to go to 13 stores and online shopping for ONE year of schooling. I would be very content with that sum of money, heck I wouldn't spend it on clothes, I would buy myself a nice laptop and i-Pod nano...
I'ld say that's a lot of money for a public school budget. I raised 4 kids two still in school and if they even asked for that much money they would be working for it at 17. Thankfully my boys never were ones to have to keep up with everyone else. Their Levis and Dockers were fine for them and they got along with a pair of sneakers, dress shoes and winter boots. My step daughter when she came into the family needed to learn how to dress, she was wearing clothes two sizes to big and very out dated though her father could afford it too. Today she dresses like most teens but she works part time and I help her the rest. I own real estate too and have two cars but there would be no way I would even give it 1/2 a thought at the price tag you showed. If your parents are giving you that amount I would thank them kindly and buy your school attire, and supplies. Good luck with school shopping. J

Maybe you live in Beverly Hills or Brentwood. If so, you will need all that clothing just to fit in. If everyone in your school dresses like that, I would understand you needing all that stuff. But, to dress that way when most of the students around you aren't as fortunate, is arrogant & insensitive. You won't be very well liked, and you might become a target for someone who is jealous and wants to take what you so easily acquired.

I've spent 700 dollars and I'm done with my school shopping. I got 6 pairs of jeans and about 6 t shirts. And why the hell do you need 30 pairs of jeans, 40 tops, and 13 pairs of sweaters!?!? Summer's not even over yet. Even though you're not trying to sound greedy, you are. I'd be happy with 1,000 dollars...or actually less than that.
