- You need to do some social bookmarking and don't promote your website, promote yourself. You will make so much more money when people come looking for you. Rob http://MindsetFormula.com
- You need to ID your target demographic. Who do you expect to be your most prevalent customer? Moms at home with kids? Travelers? Retirees? Hispanics? (Seriously, any niche.) Then find out where they live and match up with print ads in publications they're likely to get, or send them direct-mailers. Also, post like mad on eBay, with links to your online store. At least you'll be able to move some merchandise and, hopefully, start paying some bills.
- You need to leverage the power of these social sites. Choose the ones that best fit your audience's demographic, then create a presence on these by posting fun relevant content directing traffic to your site. http://www.insidecrm.com/features/50-social-sites-012808/ Good Luck

- keywording better is a must - the range is too wide like that. just think it like this: when and why does a person look for a gift and what kind of gift??!! now transform that person in the keyword they will type on their pc when they finally get to sit down. then create a sub-domain focused on that keyword, and others, update your search engine optimizations. go to freekeywords.wordtracker.com if you haven't and type in Gifts. you will discover also how much competition you're dealing with and as I just saw it's a lot. go submit your site at www.1on40.com-it's still in beta version so its free for now and seems quite powerful. also do the same at pingoat and pingomatic.com STOP SPENDING ON ADWORDS instead buy yourself a guide on how to use them--then maybe try better.. search for "beating adwords" before giving up try to spend your efforts on learning about internet marketing because that's where you find the knowledge you're looking for my choice goes to the wealthy affiliate university because that's where I come from but why instead don't you go sign up on some free email course, it's where I started-- one is at bummarketingmethod.com and take the one at longtailtreasure.blogspot.com too and I saw you have a login on your site from which you could be creating a mailing list -- I hope you're doing that and keeping up with an autoresponder because having a list of people who already bought from you once is the wish of many internet marketers but again also this is a science you need to learn search "inside the list" on the web having a website with a nice shopping cart you did most of the work now get out there and learn how to promote it youself you'll find out it's fun believe me did you already set-up a review page on squidoo.com about your site linking to it?? did you post comments on other gift-related blogs linking to your site? please don't spam though, nice and honest along with quality and unique content always works. "commentkahuna" is another web search you need if you do all these things and nothing changes I'll eat my hat cheers
