Which good, free, mailing list programs would you recommend?

I have a mailing list for my band that has 400+ email addresses on it, and am hoping to use a solid mailing list program to send out newsletters. I appreciate that I might not find free ones which are any good, but if anyone knows of any that would be great! Failing that, I'm willing to hear about good ones that cost too I guess :)

2. I found gmail the best. try it out, it even have a free pop3. In addition, you can import your address book from .csv file or any flat file and it has 2 GB of default mailbox size and ever increasing from the time of your subscription. Shall I invite you?
