has anoyone had problems with scam e-mails from someone claiming to be military?

they have been targeting military famalies even my parents if i recieved one what should i do i am apart of the mailing list for notifications and what not which means if im getting them than they can get others on that list

1. It's the same people doing the nigerian emails. They claim they're military needing help with finances or whatever. They get you email not because of you being military but because of the websites you visit online and give your email on.
2. Everyone needs to be aware that unsolicited e-mails are likely spam or scam. They target many groups: military, elderly, ethnic minorities, juveniles. That goes with the internet. Just delete unknown e-mails. You won't receive unsolicited "official" e-mail from the military.
