What stores have cheap generic prescription drugs (besides walmart)?
I know WalMart and Target offer $4.oo generic medications, but what other stores do? HEB offers $5 but it is hard to get to here... and WalMart and Target are a pain, too. Does any other store participate in the cheap generic prescription drug plans? Because at $4 - $5 --that is cheaper than me getting a 90-day supply via mail order ($30 for generic brand 90 days)--- Where Target.Walmart.etc would just be $12!! Also, do they all basically have the same list of drugs hey discount and the amount? I am in houston--btw!

- All pharmacies should carry low-cost, generic brands. Just ask your pharmacist.
- hi! I would just go with Wal-Mart. If you have a bad experience there, let the pharmacist know. I work in the medical field and even I fill my own scripts there. I've also worked w/ all the patient assistance programs for generic drugs. I would just do that Walmart thing.
- I know pathmark also has this program set up. I dont know if that is in houston or not. Usually, the meds on those lists are generic medications that have been out on the market for a while. They probably wont cover any brand name meds or meds that just came out with generics.
