Question about online show?

We've all heard of youtube. But one video hosting site(metacafe) actually pays users with alot of traffic & high ratings through a program called "producer rewards". The top "producers" have videos about things like "how to make flash powder" and "how to tie an impossible knot". Theres even one guy who has all his videos about massaging people and hes made more than 32 grand (just think if chris crocker had got his start on metacafe instead of youtube!). Anyway, my question is... for an online show to be succesful and attract a lot of viewers what does it need to have (apart from massage clips appearently!.. weird)? So far I've got three ideas, which I would love for all the yahoo users to contribute to! 1. Just a vlog, talk about everything, be funny, maybe some antics here and there. 2. A show about something specific such as special effects, dating, sports, cars, entertainment, maybe a talk show. 3. Maybe a spin off on Jackass, crazy antics and the like. help??
