how to blog like www.rosie.com?

Love the style of the blog www.rosie.com. Daily posts of talk blog, edited video and still photos with links to Flicker and ads on the main page. Do you need a Mac? How do you upload all the stuff daily? Who hosts the blog? I have asked at the site but she gets many questions per day and I have not received an answer. Is it just a function of having a Mac and Mac functions? It just seems so easy to do but I cannot figure it out. Please just look at a current page and break down the components. There is a journal area, an area that tells when last update was, questions on or off now, links to other blogs, ads, a daily photo at the top, videos that have been edited with fades and music (How is that done, what software?), do those videos have to be compressed?, what is the expense for a blog? Are there templates for blogs. I just like this one because it is updated daily and had talk video and edited video pieces, music and a journal. Can you help? Thanks

1. She's using Wordpress on her own domain (rosie.com) and probably using a web design company to do the design and coding for her. You would need to buy your own domain and learn how to use Wordpress. However, you can have a free blog at Wordpress.COM
