What can I expect after reading the books listed for the summer reading list in high school?
Are the tests hard or easy? And on the paper requiring summer reading it says it is suggested to take notes and do a reader's journal. I didn't because I am not a note person or anything but do I have to? It also says I willl be tested during the first two weeks of school.

- It's a test like any other test: Author, what do you believe the color of the flower symbolized, what was jeromes profession. Annoying questions that you can't get out of unless you read the book ;) If you read it, you'll be fine
- If it says to take notes its best to jot down a few, you may not be a note taker but you will remember more this way. If it says you will be tested then you will. The test are pretty easy I always passed them but if you havn't read the books in a while they may be a bit harder. Try to list characters there traits and role in the book also read plot summarys to jog your memory
- I don't know our high school never had summer reading lists all we got asked to do when we got back into school after summer was over was to write an essay saying what we did on summer vacation lame lame lame lol I would have love to have a summer reading list more than to write a stupid essay on what i did on my summer vacation (which was mostly nothing lol)
- If nothing else, you'll be a better person. "Five years from now, you’re the same person except for the people you’ve met and the books you’ve read.” John Wooden
- They don't always test you. Sometimes they give quizzes or sometimes they just review. The test aren't hard though. They usually want to know about the plot and the main characters. And depending on what books and what grade level you may have to answer some questions on symbology.
