- I've read a few of them. I really liked The Time Traveler's Wife. But the girl with the Pearl Earring, I just couldn't get into. But I'm not really someone that appreciates novels set in the past.
- The Broker by John Grisham is a great book (all of his are). Also, Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer is also very good. Finally The Killer Angels by Michael Shaara is an amazing book. I read it last year and I really enjoyed it. BK
- all of them

- Anything by John Grisham gets my vote I work in a good book retailer and can tell you that "Into the Wild" and "The Time Traveller's Wife" have been selling very well recently, which may or may not reflect how good they are. Also, Tracey Chevalier is a safe bet - in fact, she's recently released "Burning Bright", if you like her books. Scott F Fitzgerald is also pretty well known, so I reckon he'll be fine too Haven't heard of the others but I reckon it's probably cos you've chosen a broad choice of books, I'm guessing? Good luck with the list anyway!
- Wow. You got kind of a tough list. Well definitely Girl with a Pearl Earring and This Side of Paradise. Grisham is kind of an easy read. So is Krakauer. How many do you have to read? Personally I did not like The Road to Wellville. The Time Traveler's Wife was OK. Pax-C
- If you want a book that will make you laugh out loud, try Icy Sparks. That book was so good and had some really funny parts in it. I couldn't put it down. Prep was just ok. Not something that I would think "wow I want to read it again!" From your list those are the only 2 I have read so I can't comment on the others.
- I recomend Girl with a Pearl earing by Tracy Chevalier. I think it has an excellent storyline and I loved the book. Not going to give anything away except that there is a romantic part to the story as well as a few sad parts. All in all, loved the book and I think you should read it.
- The Killer Angels by Michael Shaara is a great read. The Road to Wellville was . . . interesting, but I don't know that I'd recommend it.
- Krakauer's "Into the Wild" and Fitzgerald's "This Side of Paradise" are both very good.
