Can someone give me a summer reading list for a 11-year-old?
If you know any good books I can read for the whole 3 months of summer, that would be great. And yes, I am going into middle school. Thanks!

- Read "his Dark materials" series by phillip pullman there are 3 books in it. 1 the golden compass 2 the subtle knife 3 the amber spy glass they are incredible books that ANYone would enjoy but they are childrens books though i read them when i was 21. And to top it off they should be done with making the first book into a movie by the end of this year
- The Bridge to Terabithia Maniac McGee Freak and Me (or something to that effect) Any of the Hardy Boys books
- You have to read A Dog`s Life By: Ann M.Martin. I promise that it is the best book around. I didn`t understand the book when I first started reading it, but it has so many adventures in it so it will never get boring. You`ll actually enjoy reading over the summer. P.S. I`m going to middle school too.
- For the best personal investment you could possibly make I recomment to anyone of any age to read: The Sara trilogy starting with ^Sara and the Foreverness of Friends of a Feather^ by Jerry and Esther Hicks. Don`t let the simplicity fool you. I used this book as material for teaching top executives and it had a major impact on their lives. It is a goldmine.
- Mysteries are good, like the Hardy Books and the "Black Stallions." I read them when I was young, 50 years ago. Best thing is to do to a library where there are more novels for juvenile books.
- Cool, I'm around your age, so I can relate to this. Are you an advanced reader? In a weird way, I think you are. Maybe I'm psychic, but I think you might like: 1. The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants by Ann Brashares 2. The Westing Game by Ellen Raskin 3. Twilight by Stephanie Myers (Haven't read this, but you might like it still...) 4. Here Today by Ann M. Martin 5. A Corner of the Universe by Ann M. Martin 6. Twitches by Randi Reisfeld and H.B. Gilmour I'm sorry I couldn't suggest more, but I would have to know more about you to tell what type of books you like. I hope you like these!
- Here are some books you could try: Twilight ,and sequel New Moon by Stehenie Meyer the Maximum Ride books by James Patterson books written by Margret Peterson Haddix are good too! Hope this helps!
- Once Upon a Cool Motorcycle Dude by Kevin O'Mally Otto Undercover: Born to Drive by Rhea Perlman The Adventures of Pirate Emma by Kirsten Korning The Invention of Hugo Cabret by Brian Selznick Septimus Heap, Book 3: Physic by Angie Sage Skulduggery Pleasant by Derek Landy Bone: Out from Boneville by Jeff Smith Superfudge by Judy Blume The Toilet of Doom by Michael LawrenceDawn Undercover by Anna Dale The Misadventures of Inspector Moustachio: The Case of Stolen Time by Wayne Madsen The Wright 3 by Blue BalliettThe Green Glass Sea by Ellen Klages Hope you enjoy!
- Anne McCaffrey wrote a great series on a girl that finds small dragon's. The Giver is good too. Tully by Pauline Simmins is kind of dark but very good. Emma Bull is a good author, War of the Oaks was my favorite. Sarah Canary and Sister Moon by Karen Joy Fowler. The life of Pi by Martel Yann was great. Well there is a variety, I hope it helps.
