If I get a credit card, can I see an online list of my purchases or not?
OK, so here's the deal. Say I wanted to get a credit card. Then I would get an online user name or something with, for example, American Express. Then, when I logged into my account, could I look at the list of things I purchased, or would it just tell me the total? Please answer!

- yes, i can at least just go to americanexpress.com and sign up for the account
- our card does, we have a chase visa
- Both
- You will have a list of transactions.
- Yes. America express has an online site where you can track all of your credit card goings ons and make payments.
- I can't say specifically for American Express. But usually it is just the merchant and how much you spent there.
- Some card providers do offer that service. They generally charge an annual fee for enhanced services. Otherwise you wait for your statement to arrive every month.
- Yes, it will show the stores and the amount of purchase. Will not show merchandise item by item.
- Yeah it will show you your purchases you just go to the credit card name then you sign in and it will show you your purchases.
- Yes you can you have too set up your account, so you can access it from the net and have A access code to due it.
- For MOST credit card companies, yes you can have an online account and view all your purchases. And, for the majority of these, you can also download the transactions automatically to Quicken or Money. I have American Express and can manage all transactions online or through financial packages. KOHLs actually lets you see a line item of EVERYTHING you purchased, rather than just the total SALE data.
- If it's one of the major credit cards, then you can register at their website and access your account online. You should be able to see the total as well as see your recent purchases. You can also make online payments. You ought to be able to do the same thing with a reasonably large bank . . . If you have an account, you just have to get the online access set up and you can see recent transactions from your savings or checking account (ATM, debit, checks, deposits/withdrawals, etc.).
- Depends on the card... Each website is different, but USUALLY... YES you can. (As long as you sign up at the website.) Remember to change your password every month!
- Of course, almost every credit card company has that available.
- probably
- It'll give you details of your purchases (for example: JCPenny $36.95). You won't be able to see an itemized list if you bought multiple things at one store. You would just see the name of the store and the total amount.
- most credit cards you can go online and see your purchases and balances statements
