Is there a free software that pulls a list of installed softwares on a client computer?

I am trying to troubleshoot a problem where my app would run on one computer but not another. It would be nice if I can generate a list of softwares installed on them (with version numbers), and compare them side-by-side. Thanks!

2. Add/remove programs in control panel, it displays all programs that contain registry entries, which are the only programs that would cause some kind of conflict anyways..
3. Bel-arc adviser. I think you can get it for free. It will also report unlicensed software if you get on line.
4. Try Bel Arc Advisor. It shows a webpage based view of your entire computer system & what's installed. It's free to use & I've had it show me some programs that I have installed that I'd forgotten about.
