Latest Lists

My ipod songs are not visible on the newer version of Itunes. How do i bring that list to my new software?

I had downloaded Itunes software on my brother's laptop & had downloaded 63 songs. But later when i downloaded a newer version of itunes s/w from the website on my own laptop, my previous list of songs were not visible on itunes. How do i bring that whole list of songs from my ipod into my new software again? The s/w that i downloaded is the newer version and contains zero songs now. How do i bring back all the songs from my ipod to the newer itunes software that i recently downloaded?

  1. Songs in iTunes aren't saved to the program or to your account, they're saved to the computer. If the songs aren't on your computer, they won't be in your iTunes. You will have to save the songs to a data storage device (CD, jump drive, hard-drive, etc.) and them copy them onto your computer. You can then import them to iTunes once they are actually on your computer. I'm assuming you downloaded the songs from iTunes Music Store, which means that only your brother's computer will be authorize to play the songs. When you log into your iTunes account on your computer, you'll have to authorize your computer to play the music. You can do this my going to Store | Authorize computer. You may also want to deauthorize your brother's computer (Store | Deauthorize computer - on his computer).
  2. I got a free iPod from this site, I highly recommend it!
