Is it safe to register in website forums that allow us to download the latest songs and movies?

There are many website forums, which provide the latest songs, movies, games, softwares etc. but they ask us to register for free. Is it safe to provide our email id in such registration?

1. 1.just create an e-mail id which you will never use for second time.(this is because some sites want you to confirm it is your original email by sending link) 2. go and click on confirm link in mail. never visit that mail again. 3. enjoy the forums.
