how do I get a list of installed software on Windows XP.?

I'd like to be able to create a print off of each of the computers in my office, showing what software is installed on each. Is there any easy way to do this?

  2. Yes Belarc Advisor is cool you can download it here. www.belarc.com/free_download.html
  3. goto system information(got to run and type msinfo32),select software Environment, program groups
  4. Agree. Belarc advisor will give you not only all the software (with serial numbers etc) but a list of all the hardware and other important things to have. It is free and an excellent program.
  5. In Stasrt>Settings>Control Panel>Add or remove Programs
  6. Belarc Advisor is the best summary that I've seen. www.belarc.com It not only provides a list of all the software on your PC it will status the Microsoft Hotfixes for Windows XP.
