What is the daily to do list look like for a housewife?
How do you organize your day in order to keep everything in order?

- 1. Make hubby do this. 2. Make hubby do that. 3. Make hubby do the other thing. Sorry, I just couldn't resist. My wife would kill me. :)
- Breakfast Laundry Then cleaning at least one room or running errands or gardening Lunch Watch TV and fold laundry Supper
- First I walk around putting household clutter back where it should be (some things can go in the trash, other things back where they belong). Then I'll dust surfaces that need it (not everyday, just when necessary). Next run a vacuum or sweep (again, not everywhere, just where needed). Usually I wash a load of white laundry in the morning, and a load of darks at night. I load the dishwasher only in the evening after supper and set it to start after we've gone to bed, that way we can continue to add to it throughout the evening if we have to. I love that feature of a dishwasher - couldn't do without it! I've been doing this routine forever and it works for me.
- This depends, if you have children it is a whole different ball game. If you don't, then spend your morning cleaning up and doing laundry. Shower, run errands, do one "project" each day. Make dinner and clean up. Vacum each night.
- "Keep everything in order"...? What is that??? LOL
- get kids to school/ preschool come home, start a load of laundry , make beds, load the dishwasher, clean kitchen ( pretty much each day I do these ) pick from either vacuuming, dusting, or clean bathroom/s , mop flooring.. and maybe pick 1 a day so everything gets done once a week go to the store, run errands ( some days I have no errands ) put the wash into the dryer, fold a few clothes if they are ready. If its early in the day, then maybe organize something: garage clutter, a kids closet, your own closet, untensil drawer, china cabinet, computer games and electronics.. ( 1 area to organize even once a week is good ) Think about dinner plans, what to make, or go out.. By evening, tv with the family, fold clothes, clean up after cooking ( kids, husband can help ) Thats a full day, may not have time for all of it.. I stick to that some days, many days I do errands, come home and watch tv... but its a good guide to have.
- There is suppose to be a list! What is order, I only know chaous.
- My day starts around 7.. brush my teeth.. kids up for school do their hair get their clothes out.. feed them breakfast take them to school.. come home.. clean kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedrooms then get a quick shower then get dressed pick the kids up from school then cook dinner, kids homework, bath the kids, clean up that mess and do some laundry and maybe get to bed by midnight. And did I mention go to school myself.
- There is no to do list I been a housewife for 12 years, two boys age 12 and 4, a husband and a brother in law the husband and brother won't do anything unless I scream and get mad the twelve year old won't do anything unless I tell him to 5 or 6 times if there is a to do list I desperetaly need it, my house is a battle field every day, in my house nothing gets done without me, my brother in law has a blueberry special k bar on top of his bathroom medicine cabinet for two years now, unless I say something he wont throw it out, I am just going to wait and see how long before he throws it out. Two years and counting.

- Only do housework if it doesn't interfere with things to-do scheduled in my date book and if I feel like it. Husband is supposed to do housework.
- Sleep until noon, the View, soaps until 4, Oprah, dinner reservations. "Honey, I'm exhausted. Could you put the kids to bed?"
