Can I merge a list of names from Excel spreadsheet to Infopath form that is placed in Sharepoint?

I created a Class Sign- in form using Infopath, I imported it into Sharepoint. I want to have users fill in info using drop downs and date pickers etc. Then I want them to be able to merge a list of names (class attendees) into a column in specific table. Using simple excel spreadsheet as data source. Help Will Infopath let me do this? I can't figure it out.

  1. can you put it back in excel? that would work. sharpoint i kow and excel but not infopath sorry
