what would be a good way to start a book list?

you know...like a number of books you prescribe for yourself to finish in a particular time period....where do i start?

1. First, you must decide either on an author which you enjoy reading or a subject you want to learn about or enjoy reading about. Go to your local library and spend some time looking around; or to a book store and browse. You can also get on the net and look up different book clubs and they might give you some ideas. I think we are also able to get on the website for the National Library of Congress--might find some interesting ideas there. Good Luck! Reading can be knowledge and lots of fun, especially when it makes you use your imagination.
2. Go to the New York Times Best seller list and select a few of interest to you/. Then find the author that you like and obtain more of that author's work.
