what is the best way to set up a mailing list using a free Internet server an or MS address Book/outlook expre

I'm doing this for my job and i'm completely ignorant about this sort of thing. Also, what's an smpt server and how can i figure mine out (or whatever) Help is much appreciated!

1. use a distribution list, List all that you want to contact in a file including their email address save the file as say my contacts SMTP server it your outgoing mail server and will be "smtp.ISP,co,uk (or com) Look yours up on your ISP site
