3. only place that they censor books are public schools and public libraries(in some states) unless of course you are from a communist country
4. I suggest you do a search for banned books. Very few people keep track of them because so many have been banned for so many reasons.
5. There is no list of federally banned books in the United States. What happens is that a concerned parent or resident may challenge a book in their local school district or library. If a decision is reached to remove that book from classrooms, the book can still be owned by anyone in the community, sold in bookstores, etc. The power of a book challenge is very limited. So you won't be able to find a list of banned books because there aren't any. The American Library Association maintains a list of the most frequently challenged books, the link for which is below. If you want to know what books have been removed from your school or local library, you will need to get in touch with the administrators of those places.
