Latest Lists

Dose Israel have a list of banned books, music, and works of art similar to ban america has?

This has to do with how people prevent the use of the Swastika and other symbols which where abused and contorted by the Nazis to ensure a reason military conquest . I want to know about the list if it does exist and gather that information to allow for the holocaust to finally be viewed as an event that shaped the world in some postive aspect. holocaust will never happen again since information like that can never be abused and contorted like that again.

  1. No. As the only democracy in the Middle East, Israel does not maintain a list or allow to be banned any books, literature, movies and the like.
  2. I just wanted to say that it can happen again. sadly. people tend to be dumb and willing to summit to strong leaders.
  3. Well I honestly don’t know, but just because Israel is a Democracy doesn’t mean it doesn't have a ban on forms of media . The US is a Democracy and they have a huge ban list on books for K - 12 grade levels. From Huckleberry Finn, 1984, to Mein Kampf at one time or another where banned or still are! So Israel being a Democracy isn't a straight forwards answer and just saying that because its in the middle east proves nothing.
  4. The Jews have squelched free speach in Europe and attempt to do it in America. Don't become an apologist for their sins.
  5. "BLUFFMIKE" above overlooked to say that THE JEWS CONTROL THE MEDIA, THE BANKS, THE MEDICAL PROFESSION, THE LEGAL PROFESSION, THE ACCOUNTING PROFESSION.... He changed the question on ISRAEL and turned it into an attack on ALL JEWS. GREAT GOING, BLUFFMIKE, YOU'LL YET DIE LIKE HITLER.
  6. Last time I looked, we had free speech in America and to my knowledge there is nothing like a banned list here. I'm sure there are unpopular symbols, sayings, etc. in Israel but they are a democracy as well. As people who have suffered greatly themselves, I think they would be hyper aware of individual differences and be sympathetic. I don't think there was any positive aspect to the Holocaust whatsoever except the lesson learned of what not to do, so it is never repeated. I'm neither a Jew or Israeli but I do know right from wrong, evil from good.
  7. don't think so
  8. Most democratic countries including the US, Western Europe and Israel do not have ban on literature or books and magazines, unless such books seriously exploit people,e like porn etc.
