Keeping track of read books: online book list?

I was wondering if there was a website somewhere that allows you to create a username and list all the books you've read, like your own personal book list (also can find other people with similar book interests). I've been on listbook.net, but I'm looking for something more organized.

1. one time i was on 43things.com (where you list your goals and try to accomplish them and communicate and such..) and i found a partner site, i remember it was just as you described. i would go on 43 things and maybe check it out from there...sorry that i cant find it on my own =(
2. I really like Goodreads.com! You can create you own bookshelves, keep track of books you'd like to read and are currently reading, write and read reviews... it's the only way I've found to keep track, and it's fun if you're a book nerd like me.
