What am I going to be required to do after reading books from the summer reading list?

Also about how much extra credit do I get? What if I read a book not in the list?

  1. It depends on what the school wants to do with the reading. Usually you have a class discussion and then take a test or write an essay. You won't get extra credit, it counts in your actual grade, like a normal test or whatever would. You need to read something from the list or else it won't count.
  2. u dont get anything its just summer reading. Thabts why some people dont even read the book.
  3. just read..or follow the instruction... it depends on the teacher and they give you exams of what you read..no you cant read a book that is not in the list..
  4. Do you mean the one for honors students? Typically you have a quiz/test within the first few days of school, sometimes even on the first day. My advice? Read, then review with Spark Notes. But I don't think you get extra credit for reading extra books, though I encourage you to do it. Food for the mind!
  5. all reading improves your mind. if you have been asked to read certain books you can be sure thre will be follow up lessons based on them if you don't read them you will look foolish. if you read extra good for you you will be better educated for having done so
  6. I assume there are going to be discussions or some sort of written response to the readings assigned. It was always funny, and embarrassing, when no one read the assigned reading, and the Teacher has a discussion prepared, and no one can say a thing about it. That has happened to me on several occasions. Dont be a teacher's pet, but dont get caught with your pants down.
