How can I removenames/contacts on my Messenger address book list?

I have tried to double click and delete, but I get error 40402 and it cannot be deleted.

1. In Messenger, it's not as complicated as it is in Email. "Right" click on the name, then select Delete from the drop down menu. It's at the bottom of the list.
2. Signout yahoo. Exist yahoo. Delete everything inside c:\program files\yahoo messenger\Cache
