is there any way to alphabetize numbered lists on work 2007?
its a list of numbered vocab words and definitions. how can i alphabetize them?

- you need to put them into a table for example 1 aword adefinition 2 bword adefinition 3 cword adefinition 4 dword adefinition 5 eword adefinition highlight all the text select table (from main menu line) > convert > text to table "columns = 3" because we have 3 items per set, number, word and definition once the table is made, highlight the table, select table > sort> and then the column you want to sort, in this case (b) or the second column sounds complex but if you follow the directions step by step it will work
- Not sure if you mean Microsoft Word 2007 or Microsoft Works Word processor. If you mean MS Word, do this: 1. Select the entire list. Don't worry about the paragraph numbers. They won't be sorted. 2. Click the Table->Sort menu item. Trust me. 3. Set the parameters the way you want them and click Sort. There is no sort in Microsoft Works Word Processor. Hope that helps.
