1. This would be virtually impossible to even predict. What do you think the answers would have been to the same question a hundred years ago in 1907?
2. Wow. 100 years. Well, I would narrow it down to industries, in no particular order: The baby-making industry. Experts/specialists/technicians/researchers, etc...That will be a major industry because most people will likely become infertile (pollution). The environmental industry. People who work for the environment, which will be drastically different. There will be biospheres and artificially created ecosystems. Bioengineering and medicine More and more people will be required for this field because people will be living even longer. the space travel industry People will be building habitation for humans on another planet by that time. The computer/AI/robot industry. People will be buying robots from corner stores. The transportation industry Companies that design and build whatever type of vehicles are used at the time. The government industry I believe the government will get bigger, not smaller, in the future. The water industry There will need to be people creating water at some point...desalination workers or something. But I think water will become more of an industry. The protection industry Crime will rise and protection will be required for everyone. The beauty/health industry That will still be an issue for men and women. Laser surgery will be commonplace. I can't think of anything else. It's hard to imagine.
