What area of specialization do I choose for a business degree?

I have my Associates degree in marketing/ business admin. I am transferring to a 4 year college for my bachelors degree. I have several choices of what to specialize in but I want to choose something that will withstand this economic crisis. I enjoy all the choices so I was unable to narrow it down that way. This is the list of choices: accounting, actuarial sciences, computer information systems, economics, finance, hospitality administration, managerial sciences, marketing real estate, and risk management and insurance.

Public Comments

1. Presently in the US, you can either take economics or finance.
2. I would vote for economics. The reason is that economics is, from that list, the most fundamental degree. It underlies a variety of other more applied areas in business. It has the broadest scope to it.
