Latest Lists

What does it say about a person when they keep lists for every little inconsequential thing?

I mean beyond being organized? I know someone who writes down EVERYTHING, even things that occur weekly like garbage pick-up and milk delivery. To-do lists, long-term goal list, daily lists, lists for the kids, and post-it's everywhere. Is there something bigger going on here? She is 35 yrs old, but has kept lists since childhood. It seems to have gotten worse over the last several years. When she isn't able to write things down she is always asking people to "remind her" of things. She either will not or can not trust herself to remember anything.
