Microsoft Outlook - Distribution lists how to hide email addresses from others?
I would like to use Distribution lists for our clients, however, I do not want them to see the other's email addresses that I am sending to. Is there a way to set that up in Outlook? Or do I need additional software?

- You can create the distribution list as normal, but when you send an email to the distribution list put the distribution list in the BCC field. That should keep the users from seeing each others addresses. This article tells you how: http://waynehohler.typepad.com/techblog/2007/09/hide-that-distr.html
- bcc line of an email. whoever you put in that line will not know who you sent it to. below the cc line. go to your email properties and check the box for bcc.
- You can set up a distribution list in contacts, by going under actions, then New Distribution List. When you send the email, put the list in the "BCC" line rather than "to" or "cc". This way they are Blind copied and can not see others on the list. the email will not send without someone in the "to" section, so just put your own address there.
