Is it possible to get a free e-mail address list for advertising? ?

I am hosting a Halloween costume party on the 31st of this month and am trying to find out if there is anyway to get an e-mail address list for free. Since I do not have much time to promote this event and I don’t have any money left for advertising I believe sending out an e-mail blast would be a quick and effective way to reach people. So here are my questions. Is there anyway to get a free list of email address? (1000+ people) Also will I be able to somehow get a targeted list ages 18-35 in the Fort Lauderdale area? Since I have never done this before I was thinking about just attaching the flyer and sending it out is this a good idea?
