Has anyone got a short term job using CraigsList?
I like to look at Craigslist on a regular basis and think there may be some real nice ways to make a few extra dollars doing short term evening and weekend jobs. I think it would be nice to have a few extra dollars for the Holiday Season. Have you ever got a short term job using Craigs List and if so, tell us about it!

- No, unless you count anonymous sex in a hotel as a "job".
- The only jobs they have are sex jobs
- Yes, I have. The work was very challenging but very rewarding. I made about $25 an hour and I could turn 2-3 tricks per hour depending on traffic. The position was a little risky and did require some up-front cash for clothes, etc.
- I, personally, have actually found a couple permanent office positions. A few friends of mine has found little jobs on CL. I do not know what it is called, but the positions they found were to go to from bar to bar handing out samples of beer and or cigarettes when people sign up. Not sure how much it pay, but it is extra money... Try looking under marketting, food, tv/film...
- i sold my car using craigslist..
- I did a few freelance photography jobs for corporate events. They were fun! It was a great way to earn extra money.
- I've been taking short-term Writing / Creative / Music jobs on craigslist for the last 3 years. For me it was always a steady stream of additional income and fun. I can give a few tips from my personal experience: 1. prefer local jobs to remote/internet - they generally offer more money, it's easier to deal with the employer and you are generally paid in cash = no tax / no W-9. 2. don't email - call or talk in person. It's much easier to get the job if you call / show in person and be nice ;-) 3. don't bother about signed contract as long as it is a part-time job. At first I was afraid of doing something without a written commitment, but my experience shows that "OK" works well all the time. These 3 hints helped me to stay away of the trouble and worked just fine. Hope they will work out well for you too. You can use craiglook to find local part time jobs:
