What Are the Best Source Of Mailing Lists?
I need to conduct a very fast mailing campaign on a budget. Then I want to buy or get for free mailing lists but they should be good (meaning real addressess). What are the best that I can get? Thank you

- Here is a great program...you enter a few details or specifics about who/what type of email you are looking for and it gives you a very large targeted list for free. http://www.myemailspider.com The commercial lists are weak and have such a small conversion/response rate. ==================
- You'd need to compile these yourself. Sometimes they have mailing list CDs or labels that you can buy. The "free" resources: Chamber of Commerce directories Yellowpages / Whitepages Local business directories InfoUSA.com has a few decent mailing list options for small companies. They offer both a subscription service and a per-list service where you can input your mailing list criteria and buy the mailing list for limited or unlimited use. You should be very careful with them when you do purchase, or with any mailing list seller. To maximize your marketing budget, you should ask for one key contact per address, only addresses with contact names, and if you buy from them a second time, you need to tell them that you don't want to buy the same addresses again, meaning you should ask them to suppress the last purchase you bought from them. In the event you didn't want to procure a mailling list every time you wanted to do a local or regional campaign, you can look at these resources as advertising alternatives to an actual mailing list: Harte-Hanks http://www.harte-hanks.com/ Pennysaver http://www.pennysaver.com/ Valpak (blue envelope w/ coupons) http://www.valpak.com/ ADVO Inc.'s ShopWise http://www.advo.com/
