Where are some inexpensive places to have a baby shower in houston,tx?

I'm am almost 9 months pregnant and want to have a baby shower on december 20, 2008. I have a limited income and have a list of about 40 friends and relatives. Any ideas anyone?

1. a friends house. or your house. or maybe a friends 'rec-room' at thier apartment complex. If you know anyone who lives at rice lofts they can reserve a room there (super nice) for free just because they live there.
2. You can have a Saturday or Sunday brunch baby shower at Le Peep restaurant. There are 2 locations in Houston. Im sure they have a conference area. The one on Wilcrest is so much more nicer. Just an idea.. Its different and the food is wonderful.
