What are the cool latest rock songs?

I have never really noticed how cool rock is until I went to a friends house and played guitar hero and I really liked it. So can someone out there let me know the coolest latest rocks songs out there because I really am starting to like it but I don't want to have OLD rock songs in my Ipod hahah XD thanks

3. didn't you hear? Rock is Dead! everyone that is a "rock band" on the radio for the last 15 years wants to cry... and rock isn't about crying it's about rocking. Just stick to the classics, they are from Rock's hey day. you can't go wrong. its a good place to start. And its a good time to find rock because hip hop has been dead for the last 10 years... It was shortly after BIG was shot that hip hop died... Eminem killed it... again crying about bullshit. And the last good country song--it was in the 80s...
