I want to set up a 10 Computer Lan please list me the hardware/software and process to do this?

1. All the computers should be having Ethernet Cards.. NIC cards. One computer that you want to use as the internet access point should have 2 of them. 11 ethernet cables with RJ45 jacks at either end. Switch with 16 slots Router/modem for internet access. Connect all the computers to the switch. Use one computer as the internet/dhcp server. Connect this computer's additional nic to the router. Open Internet connection sharing wizard on this computer and share network and internet.
2. buy a 10+ port router and connect your PCs to it? connect your broadband modem to it too. it's probably cheaper to buy two 4 port switches and plug them into your 4 port router? I don't know your budget... you shouldn't need any special software to do this
