is it possible to run a business from home with a 3 month old who needs attention 24-7??
so i thought it would be nice to work from home AND be able to take care of my 3 month old... that would save me lots of money from having to commute (using up gas) and putting him in daycare (which is about 1K a month) i am also doing all of it alone (no significant other at this time) and on top of that taking care of all the bills.. do u believe its possible? and HOW?? i thought i would be able to do it..but it seems that i always get sidetracked whenever my son needs me..(which is every hour or so) and then i end up getting nothing done : / (i am doing a retail business online selling stuff ) if u are a work at home mom..what are the stradegies do get stuff done while taking care of a baby too?

- I have tried this for the past year and a half. Actually it was easiest when he was still a newborn. I ended up basically working overnight during the baby's long stretch of sleep, and getting very little sleep myself - but what new mom gets sleep anyway? When he was older and getting into things I found it harder because I couldn't take my eyes off of him. Go to local high schools and ask the counseling center if there are any volunteer babysitters would would like to come to your house after school to help you out. Often private schools require their students to do community service, and teenage girls often love volunteering with little babies.
- Not everyone can succeed in online business. It is not so easy as some people think. You must put something, money, time, intelligence and courage. I guess what you have tried are some free programs, but ask yourself, if someone tell you that you can make thousands dollars a month without invest a dime, do you believe that? An initial investment is necessary for online business, but before you invest, you must know what you are buying and what you are going to do. If some company hide all the information before you make the payment, then it is a scam. Information is the king. - My wife did this when our daughter was born back in 2003. She started a simple on line website and would promote it by selling some of the products on eBay. It caught on and she still runs the business part time. You don't need much time, as long as you have a computer and a few minutes here and a few minutes there, you can do it. Try to stay away from anything that takes a lot of up front $$$ to get started. She spent about $150 to get the website up and running. (That's design, all the back end and even suppliers). So if you have 5 minutes, use it to look around this site. They have examples of what your site will look like.
