  1. Purchase a ticket, go to the airport and try and board the plane.
  2. i dont think there is anyway short of getting denied to board the plane Also there is no way to know why or to get off it.People have written their congresspersons trying to get off of it and cant always get cleared. Its very scary in todays world. Poor answerer below is quite naive. Many law abiding citizens ,according to legitamate reports by upstanding citizens without any criminal history and complaints to TSA as well as to congress persons from their constituents.have been placed on that list with no reason. There is not much logic behind it, though the idea is certainly attractive: to feel safer if there were some way to do it.Probably good screening of peoples belongings and baggage has done a lot more for security-when it is done thoroughly by well trained personnel who are not found to be ex-cons themselves-we just can't seem to get it right yet.
  3. It depends, are you guilty of anything like espionage, treason, or being a member of a terrorist group? Are you currently pending a trial or litigation? Are you currently under probation or a condition of your parole that prohibits travel? If you can answer "no" to all of those you're good to go.
