What are the most definitive lists of the best novels of all-time?
I have seen many lists of the best works of fiction. But which ones are the most accurate/respectable/reliable? For example, a list from one random blogger would be less definitive, whereas a list compiled from a survey of 1,000 top writers and critics would be moreso.

- There are those 100-best novels lists that may be found by typing that in on your search engine. Remember, also, the many literary prizes that exist in different categories so that you can narrow down your personal favorites. There are the Newberry Award for children's literature; the Pulitzer Prize, which is generally for American literature; The Coretta Scott King Award, for African-American literature; there are the Nebula Award, for Science Fiction, and so many others, such as the Booker Prize. These have yearly awards and all lists may be found on line. If you stop coming up with ideas, just ask a librarian at your public library and they will know exactly how to help you. All that said, many of my favorite books of all time are not on any lists and have won no awards. Taste is unique to each individual, and it is important to remember that each individual is a valid critic and allowed an opinion. I get to state mine, too.
