Would this look okay for a prom dress?
Ok so I am having my mom make my dress because she's really good at sewing, etc. I have two possible bodices: A. http://www.voguepatterns.com/item/V2890.htm??tab=list/evening_bridal_includes_designer&page=all B. http://www.mccallpattern.com/item/M5321.htm??tab=list/evening_prom_bridal&page=all There will be some possible embroidery and such. The dress's main color will be light pink. And maybe a white or ivory undertone. The bottom is the pattern of B but without the gathering ruffly things and it will be very big and puffy. The materials will probably be some mixture of tulle, maybe satin, and maybe chiffon. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Please and thank you!

- i really like the first one :]
- the first one is gorgeous and unique, i would go with that one if you want to look beautiful and different from everyone else!
- I like A, but B looks exactly like a wedding gown--even if it were a different color. Depending on your body type, A is a little more form fitting and fun for a prom. The second one is pretty, but I think too formal for a younger girl (I am assuming you are in high school).
- I think it will look fabulous! I don't suggest going overly poufy because it will take away from the bodice but the flowers on the bodice are a nice touch and I definitely suggest using pink.
- since ur bottom looks like B , then I like pattern B
- Definitely the first one. It is nice to be unique and original at prom and have a dress that people turn around and ask you were you got it. You can answer that it was custom made for you! :) (The second dress, one can buy anywhere, even though it is pretty and fun to have such a big ruffly poof!)
