Does anyone know the value of Matchbox Models of Yesteryear or where i could find out?

3 models in boxset include the following: 1. Red fire engine, Rolls Royce. Matchbox code Y-6 I did alot of web browsing and all the sites say in came with a brown ladder, although mine in white. Mint Condition 2. The Eagle Pencil Co. Van. Matchbox code Y-25 Colour blue, Mint Condition 3. Harrods Ltd. electric van. Matchbox code Y-29 Colour cream on top, dark green below. Mint Condition ALL 3 models as said are mint condition and look as they were just bought yesterday. The box is still in very good condition. History - I was given the boxset as a birthday or christmas present when i was a child by my grandparents, early 1980's i presume. Even as i child i never played with them, they always remained with the box.

Go look in WH Smugs, or Martin's, or some other newsagents. There are a couple of magazines called something like "Model Collector" or something similar. You should find some guidance in there. Do not hold your breath! If they were new in the 1980s, then their price would not have increased very much, if at all.
