Where can I get a mailing list for my county? I'm starting a home based business and want to send out flyers.

1. you can try the white pages.
2. You'll have to make your flyers and distribute them door to door. I don't believe counties give out mailing lists. The best way would be door to door or to attach them to people's mailboxes.
3. you can go to your courthouse and ask them to make labels for you. There is usually setup charge and a charge for the labels. They can do lists too and again, they usually charge a fee for this. I worked in an assessors office and our computer person was always doing this for someone......
4. Look into ValPac or any similar service that sends a pack of inserts to "resident" addresses. It may work for you and may be cost effective. Keep Records of all your marketing efforts to learn whicj ones work best.
5. Check with your local Chamber of Commerce, or go to your library and look at the street directories. You can buy lists for a fee, but they are not cheap.
