What's a good essentials list of clothes for summer?

Like, 3 tank tops, shorts etc. I haven't got many summer things and wondered if anyone could put together a list of clothes you would need over summer that look good which are generally under £50 and mostly all go together. Like base clothes which you can accesssorize with

6. Having moved house last autumn and got rid of most of my clothes I recently wrote a shopping list for an entire summer wardrobe. I'm on a budget so I used a mixture of ebay, charity shops and budget shops like Primark. Believe it or not I got this lot for just over £80 and it's serving me well: - 1 pair decorated flip flops/sandal and 1 pair either plain flip flops, or pumps suitable for work. (got mine from ebay - they've got some great bargains of barely worn shoes) - 2 pretty bright coloured sun dresses that can be dressed down for casual or work, or worn with heels and jewellry for evening. (again, got mine from ebay - one is actually a Stephanie Conley dress and I got it for a fiver!) - 1 pair light but smart trousers or skirt (can be used for work or smart-casual), any colour. (Primark have trousers on sale at the moment - got a pair for £6) - 1 lightweight cardigan in a neutral colour (navy, white, black etc) (got mine from Oxfam, but H&M and New Look have some cute cheap ones too) - 1 pair of sunglasses (easy to get cheap ones, I have some great cats eye retro style ones that cost me £2.99 off ebay, but there's some great ones in Superdrug from £4) - 2 fun coloured lightweight short-sleeved tops. Again choose ones that can be worn for work as well as casual, and that will look OK with jeans and jacket if it turns out to be a bit chilly!. This is a good place to look around charity shops, sometimes they have stuff with the tags still on, and you'll probably get something more original than you would off the high street. - a pack of vest tops (Primark, Peacocks etc all do packs of two or three very cheaply, and you can layer them with other t-shirts if it turns out cold) - bikini or swimsuit (ebay is great, they have lots on the Buy It Now option - you don't want a secondhand swimsuit, but I got one from Primark - they have loads of cheap ones) i also had some spare money from my budget so I bought a couple of those rockabilly style flowery hairclips which are affordable but really trendy right now and sold in most clothes shops and chemists, and a small scarf from H&M which I can use on my head as a bandana for bad hair days, or as a neckerchief, or even as a belt with jeans. A couple of pots of colourful nail varnish bought with Boots Advantage points really helps jazz up my feet for the season too. Summer clothes are usually cheaper than winter ones, and you can combine them with stuff you already have, and with more wintery clothes on colder days - so it shouldn't be difficult to look cool on the cheap if you get a bit creative about it.
