  8. Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen is my favorite novel. Persuasion A Tale of Two Cities Jane Eyre David Copperfield As you can see, I gravitate towards Jane Austen and Charles Dickens, though I left out one of each of theirs on this list and added Charlotte Bronte's masterpiece. Mansfield Park and Great Expectations would have been in the top ten. That's a great list of books!
