My school library is trying to start a book club. bulk book buying any help?
were can i look at prices to buy new books in bulk that wouldn't be a TON of money.???? help asap and if anyone knows were to look at a list of top books of 2008 for each of these separate categories : fantasy, mystery/suspense, non-fiction and biography / autobiography's that would help too

- What do you mean 'in bulk'? Are you going to be buying , for instance, 10 of one title? I don't think buying a lot of separate books would be considered buying 'in bulk'. You may want to ask families of the students to contribute a book each. Make a wish list and have them sign up to buy one book from it for your club. I really don't know of any book wholesalers. You could try and contact Amazon for info. Maybe they offer discounts and free shipping.
- If you buy 20 of a title Barnes and Noble will give you a bulk discount of 20% and they can ship them to your school. If your school has a subscription to Publishers Weekly I think they release a supplement like that. The New York Times Bestseller lists are also good for that. Amazon also does a top list but closer to the end of the year i believe.
