Is the new pro-free market book about the economic crisis "Meltdown" by Tom Woods going to be a bestseller?

http://www.meltdownthebook.com/ Meltdown is a new book by bestselling author and libertarian historian Thomas Woods, which will be released tomorrow (February 9th). Woods wrote the Politically Incorrect Guide to American History, a New York Times bestseller which the New York Times hated. Now, Woods has written a new book explaining why government caused the economic crisis and why Capitalism is the solution. Is this book going to be a New York Times bestseller just like his Politically Incorrect Guide to American History? Wouldn't it be nice if the socialists who pretend that Bailouts and Spending Bills are the solution looked at the bestseller list in their favorite newspaper and saw a radically free market book on that list?

  1. Im thinking about getting it. Not sure yet.
  2. I'll buy it. If I get it at Borders.com does it count as a brick and mortor store for NYTimes list purposes? I don't remember.
  3. [Offering the first free-market perspective on—and answers to—the financial calamity, Meltdown proves: * How the government and the media created the myth that this crisis is so complicated that people should not question the government's response but leave it up to the "experts." * That no amount of government regulation or "brilliant" politician can fix a broken system—a new system is the best solution. * How politicians and the media refuse to talk about the role of the Federal Reserve in this crisis, but it is at the heart of the problem. * The media has created the myth that we need a "new New Deal" to get out of this crisis. * The cold truth that capitalism isn't the culprit—the government is.] Sound like a conspiracy theory nut.
