Is it safe to go to someones house to buy a fish tank from Craig's List?

It's a 20 gallon fish tank for $20. Is it safe to deal with Craig's List?

1. It's always safer to meet at a public spot, but if that is not possible just go with a friend and let other people know where you are going. That's what I always do.
2. Nowadays, most definetly not. If they will not meet you in a public place, then spend the extra money at a pet store or something. The extra expense to buy from a store is better than putting yourself in danger.
3. I wouldn't go to their house alone. People are so mean these days. It is a good deal though!!! Congrats on that.
