1. i suggest going for it if he has the low price, but ask him questions about any bugs that might be in the system.
2. hmmm... an elite for 200 bucks? sounds too good to be true. A: the guy might be scamming u. B: the xbox probably has some problems and it is out of warranty. wat do u do if u get the RROD? he couldv gotten the RROD, done the towel trick, is trying to sell it as if its in working condition, and after a week of playing it, u could get the RROD! C: it IS craigs list... its notorious for ppl getting ripped off/scammed. I suggest u buy a ps3. im on my 4th brand new xbox AND its an elite... the RROD can happen to any xbox, elite or not. Play it safe and smart and buy a ps3 instead, i wish i had gotten one in the first place. lol

4. just me and i say alot poeple should. i think u should fork rest the money over for a new one in store you have no clue how that system was treated you have no clue if they got rrod then did towal trick you have no clue really i say pay the 300 bucks for a 60gb or even better wait till black friday if your willing to standing line at like 10pm to the sdtore opens bestbuys here on friday as a 30-40% of a price drop on all items insane
5. It's definitely too good to be true... If an xbox 360 is modded it void all microsoft warranty... another thing is it likely has the red ring of death.... which would make it a useless box to you with no warranty... I don't know if microsoft would even fix it if you paid them because of it being modded... The only way I would even consider buying something like this is if I went to their house, had them turn on the xbox, play several games letting you try them out and proving that EVERYTHING works perfectly. Otherwise you are likely going to be out of $170...
6. Listen to me........Do not buy it, always look for something local
